Between work, school, and all those other pain-in-the-butt activities that we women MUST do in a day, it seems like there’s never time left in the day for a decent social life... let alone a good workout. So what are you to do, when you want to go party in that little black dress, but don’t have time to hit the gym beforehand?
Well, because every girl has the right to party AND look and feel her best, I’ve created this killer (honestly) workout that gives you the burning, toning, metabolism-boosting power of a full 50-minute gym session… in just 10 minutes from the comfort of your dorm room, apartment, hotel, or wherever your little heart desires! Not only will you get an awesome workout, but you’ll also go to that party feeling more energized, confident, and looking noticeably more toned (thanks to that magical post-workout muscle tissue repair process that is much too scientific for me to explain here…)

The Killer WORKOUT
Before you begin, set a watch to go off at two intervals: 45 seconds for "work phase", and 15 seconds for "rest phase". If your watch doesn’t do this, here is a simple online interval timer, with custom intervals. (If you use this online timer, you'll set 'prepare' to 00:00, 'work' to 00:45, 'rest' to 00:15, and cycles to "10"). Or, you can just do the workout WITH me in the video below:
My music is cheesy (sorry), but I've separated the work and rest phases with different types of tunes (work phases = cheesy upbeats; rest phases = cheesy lullabies) to make it easy to keep track of time.
Below is your list of 10 exercises. You will do each exercise for 45 seconds ALL OUT (go as hard as you can, as many repetitions!) then you will REST for 15 seconds. Then you’ll move immediately into the next exercise on the list.
- Roll-back, jump-ups!
- "Dead man" Push-ups
- Jumping lunges
- Plank Leans
- Tuck-up/ V-up/ Straddle-up Abs
- Static Chair Pose
- Scooping Push-ups
OK, that's it! Finished! Done! Yay!
Now go put on that sexy dress, and go party like a rockstar! (...or take a nap...)
